Natalia deMiguel Annoni

Prize-winning Argentinean American choreographer, dancer, teacher, and screen dance filmmaker, Natalia deMiguel Annoni brings movement-based storytelling to life with powerful emotional depth. Her short film "secrets in strawberry frosting" is streamed via Bridge Chicago, while their choreography for "Huracán Ares: el Dios de la Ira"—with story by María Arce, music by Pamela Ruiter-Feenstra, and dance by Isa Huembes—was featured at the 2024 Detroit Film Festival. Rooted in Latine identity and committed to healing through art, Natalia uses performance to amplify voices affected by gender-based violence (GBV) and to support survivor-centered narratives within the Healing Bells collective.

"I am passionate about telling stories of other Latine people and am honored and grateful to be part of such a strong, compassionate team. We all know someone who has been sexually assaulted. Through productions, we can help empower survivors and tell them they are not alone. We believe you. We see you. The use of art to heal, empower, and create a community and support system for survivors or loved ones who lost someone to GBV is something that cannot be underestimated or understated.”
