Georgie Correa

Voice-over & design artist

Georgie Correa

Georgie Correa is a design artist with a BFA from the University of Michigan Stamps School of Art and Design, and a minor in Gender, Race, and Nation studies. Their work, often expressed through comics and visual storytelling, centers on themes of identity, self-discovery, and cultural belonging. Whether drawing from life in Puerto Rico or Ann Arbor, Georgie seeks meaning in the everyday and brings that sensibility to their creative contributions with Healing Bells.

A passionate storyteller and dedicated artist-activist, Georgie combines design, voice, and narrative to amplify underrepresented stories, especially those of women and queer communities affected by violence. With aspirations to become a published artist and future art professor, Georgie continues to explore how art can foster healing and spark connection.

“As a queer person from Puerto Rico, I have always been aware of the Ni une más movement, and have been very passionate about raising awareness of the violence against women and queer folk in and out of the island. It’s important for me to elevate the voices of those who are speaking up and telling their stories, and I hope that it reaches and touches the hearts of many. Most of all, I hope that it brings healing to those who can relate to these stories.”
