Gabriel Correa
Voice-over artist & renewable energy management

Originally from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, Gabriel Correa holds a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management and a BBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. With a vision for environmental responsibility and corporate sustainability, Gabriel aims to build a career in the energy and renewables sector. During his time at U-M, he took on leadership roles that not only elevated his Puerto Rican heritage but also brought attention to the social and environmental challenges facing his community.
When Hurricane Fiona struck Puerto Rico during his senior year, Gabriel mobilized support through multiple campus organizations to launch a fundraising campaign for marginalized communities deeply affected by the storm. His work reflects a commitment to educational advocacy and social change.
“Coming from Puerto Rico, I have heard about a frightening amount of stories that all involve some violence against women, especially during the past 4–5 years. I went to an all-boys school, so even if these things were happening around me, I was blind to most of them, unless they were a major headline. Once I went to Michigan, I realized the gravity of this problem in Puerto Rican society. As a man, I don't feel anxiety every time I go out with my friends to a bar, or in the streets of San Juan. However, I can use my position to raise awareness about this issue, and make my female counterparts feel welcome and safe in situations where they should not have to feel anxious in the first place, but because of the social problem it will always be in the back of their mind. It is the least I can do as a contributing member of society.”
