Angelina Kretz
Actor & engineer

Angelina Kretz is a local leader in Detroit’s automotive industry and a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she earned an MBA from the Ross School of Business and a master’s degree in Energy Systems Engineering. As a woman navigating corporate America, she continuously works to amplify underrepresented voices and drive sustainable mobility solutions for the future.
A mother of three student athletes, including two gymnasts, Angelina brings personal insight to her advocacy, shaped by her own experience with betrayal trauma and institutional trust. Like many survivors, she once underestimated her trauma, but now channels her empathy and leadership into speaking up for others and making space for healing through connection.
Through Healing Bells, she contributes to a collective movement where art becomes a bridge—connecting survivors, audiences, and communities in shared understanding and strength.
“Using the arts as a means to reach people, to develop a deep connection, and to enable an understanding of the struggles of victims is one of the most purposeful activities I have been involved in for our community. The ability to portray these stories, to reach the emotions of the survivors, actors, and the audience through music, and to highlight the frequency of institutional betrayal will surely foster healing and inspire others to stand up for victims of all types of trauma.”
