Healing Bells
Rooted in the healing arts,
we collaborate with survivors
to transform trauma into empowerment
through musical storytelling.
Who we are
At Healing Bells, we are a nonprofit organization rooted in the healing arts. We co-create music, theatre, dance, and poetry with people to celebrate who they are, to spotlight cultural wisdom and art, and to tell stories that have been censored and ignored. We create spaces of community engagement where people impacted by trauma and systemic injustices can reconnect, rebuild, and feel supported.
Healing is a personal and shared journey, one shaped by resilience, belonging, and active participation. Through trauma-informed practices, creative expression, and community-led action, we amplify voices and nurture hope in places where it's most needed.
Our work stands on the values of equity, compassion, and the belief that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and empowered. From storytelling to advocacy, from listening to acting, we’re here to ring loudly for justice, connection, and transformation.
This space was created to support you—whether you're
-
navigating trauma (see our 5 Stages of Healing from Trauma),
-
seeking grounding tools (we're building an e-Handbook for Survivors),
-
exploring your own path to empowerment (sign up for our Compose for Change: Healing Arts class!).
Our trauma-sensitive resources, reflections, and practices invite resilience, belonging, and self-expression. All at your pace, with care at the center.

Stories & Events

Music, theatre, and storytelling open space for collective healing, cultural connection, and trauma recovery.
From Ni une más to Landscapes of Crisis in Venezuela, every voice, every note echoes shared strength, and reminds us that no one should have to suffer in silence.
