Jim “Russo” Núñez

Born in Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico, also known as the City of the Three Kings, Jim Carlos Núñez Rivera, affectionately called “Russo,” is a multi-talented musician and artist with deep roots in both music and visual arts. A father of three, Russo channels his creative expression through songwriting, guitar performance, and as the frontman of La Voz de Marisol, a project blending power ballads and power metal. His talents extend into drawing, painting, and wood burning, and his passion for nature and home projects is shared with his fiancée, Alexandra Ruiz Costas.

As a member of Healing Bells, Jim honors the memory of Alexandra’s sister, Andrea Ruiz Costas, who was lost to femicide. Though he never met Andrea, Russo has stood firmly by Alexandra’s side, guided by a deep empathy for the grief and trauma survivors endure. His participation reflects a powerful form of allyship and a belief in healing through music and art.
